13th July 2015 -- The OLYMPUS PEN Scottish Fashion Awards have announced today an impressive list of nominees for their 10th Anniversary gala, which will take place in the Corinthia London Hotel on 3rd September. The event will be co-hosted by the RT Hon David Mundell MP Secretary of State for Scotland and Chairman and awards founder Dr. Tessa Hartmann.
The black tie 'Highland Gathering' will be hosted by TV personality Laura Whitmore and will change in format to reflect their 10th Anniversary celebrations.
"We're having a gala party this year to showcase the incredible Scottish fashion, design and textile talent we have working in Scotland and around the world. There will be DJ's and a club décor will replace the formality of banqueting tables. Once the awards are presented the celebrations will begin and as you know we Scot's do love to throw a good party," said Tessa Hartmann.
The decision making process will begin in earnest next week with the stellar line up of judges who will have a challenging task indeed.

"The Scottish Fashion Awards have provided an invaluable platform for a roll call of talents over the past 10 years, and I am delighted to be appointed a judge at this year's special anniversary edition," stated Katie Grand, Editor-in-Chief, LOVE Magazine.

Other judges include supermodel Stella Tennant, Caroline Rush CBE, Chief Executive of The British Fashion Council, Sara Maino - Head of New Talent, Italian Vogue, Mickey Boardman - Editorial Director, Paper Magazine (NYC), Jo Elvin – Editor, Glamour, Justine Picardie - Editor-in-Chief, Harpers Bazaar, Natasha Pearlman – Editor, Grazia, Jane Bruton - Deputy Editor & Lifestyle Director The Daily Telegraph, Jessica Bumpus - Fashion Features Editor Vogue.co.uk, Penny Martin - Editor, The Gentlewoman and Colin McDowell MBE to name but a few.
